The Beatles bassist popped the question to his NYC businesswoman girlfriend Nancy Shevell last weekend and she gladly accepted.
According to an insider, Paul arranged ?a romantic candlelit dinner for two? for the proposal, and they?re only telling family and close friends at this point.
Nancy will be McCartney?s third wife- his first wife Linda died in 1998, and he divorced his second wife Heather Mills in 2008.
