Certainly the place to be on Saturday night (May 7),Disneyland in Anaheim had an energetic vibe as the stars of "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" held their movie's world premiere.
With Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz being the main attractions, the co-stars joined producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Rob Marshall, actors Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane, Keith Richards, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, and Sam Claflin for the red carpet extravaganza.
Also drawing out the likes of Eva Longoria, Emma Roberts, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens, the film's debut was shown in 3-D on a floating island in the Rivers of America.
Tickets to the premiere event sold out in three days at a hefty pricetag of $1,000 for each admittance - while the proceeds benefitted the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
As for the movie - which opens in theaters on May 20th - the latest "Pirates" installment finds "Jack Sparrow and Barbossa embark on a quest to find the elusive fountain of youth, only to discover that Blackbeard and his daughter are after it too."
